Baka a.k.a Paboya updates:
Home. Home is where i belong. Yes indeed. In an blink of an eye, 3 1/2 months have passed me by. I remember the day when i started work, i was walking to school, thinking, "oh man, 3.5 months more!" Now, with just only 3 days left, i start to feel nostalgic already.
To be quite exact, i'm rather attached to this place as far as i know. I like the environment; the people are quite nice too. However to bloody darn expensive. Also, after 6pm, you'd be stoning at home wondering what you're gona do, and i'm just not the kind of 'bar' person so i end up going to BlockBuster most of the time, renting movies and laughing myself silly back at dorm.
I miss life back in sg. I miss my friends, my family, and home... and oh, my BED!!! i have taken you for granted!!! *rolls around*
Today my lab people gave me a farewell lunch party. We ate at the Marquis and coincidentally Yvette's lab mates also held her farewell lunch there. Hah. Well Dr. Julie treated me lunch; which was burger n onions, as well as a pint of coke. Everyone in the lab shared a present for me too. They gave me a univ. of leicester mug and shirt! awww i was soooo touched! i actually wanted to buy that from the student union shop but it was too ex (like both cost £20! like SGD60...) sigh.... i'm so blessed.
Mom, Dad, Henry, and all my friends, i look forward to meeting you all again soon.
